Philadelphia Phillies – BayCare Ballpark, Clearwater, FL.
Position Summary:
The Food Runner assists multiple positions to ensure guests receive items ordered in a timely fashion. Responsibilities include preparing the stand for opening, counting inventory, assisting food preparation, and closing the stand after the game. Clean and organize the stand and follow management guidelines. Runners follow all state and local food handling, alcohol, and safety guidelines.
Work Hours:
Event‑based hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as the ballpark schedule requires.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist cashiers with retrieving items ordered by customers.
Restock all items that may run low such as cups, lids, straws, condiments, napkins, chips, peanuts, drinks.
Assist in making popcorn.
Communicate with kitchen staff when items are running low.
Maintain a clean work area using sanitation standards.
Keep the front and outside of the stand free from debris and trash (pick up trash, sweep entrance).
Flex to fill in another position when needed.
Follow all State and Local food handling, alcohol, and safety guidelines and Ballpark Food & Beverage policies.
Obtain the Safe Staff certificate as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to lift packages/boxes up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, and lifting during shift.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Work non‑standard hours.
Demonstrated attendance reliability.
