The Swim Lesson Instructor is responsible for conducting an instructional aquatic program aimed at increasing safety and swimming, fitness, or diving skills.
Responsibilities
Instruct and demonstrate appropriate aquatic skills to participants.
Complete appropriate certificates and reports for individual participants before the end of each session.
Report any equipment or resource needs to the Swim Lesson Coordinator.
Inform participants of meeting location prior to each session.
Qualifications
Must be at least 14 years old.
Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns.
Ability to maintain a high level of readiness and preparedness in handling emergency situations.
Subject to outside environmental conditions. Daily entrance into the water is required.
Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing ≤ 30lbs on a daily basis. Lifting assistance is required when lifting > 30lbs.
