Line Cook / Dishwasher The role supports the team leader in managing all aspects of the kitchen. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and delivering flavorful dishes while ensuring a clean and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Open and close the kitchen as needed.
Prepare various appetizers and entrees, keeping the kitchen and line fully stocked.
Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain the dish machine.
Scrape, rinse, and load dishes into the dish machine; unload and organize them afterward.
Empty trash containers and maintain a clean work area by sweeping and mopping as needed.
Perform additional cleaning duties and maintain food prep stations and equipment.
Control and direct the food preparation process while collaborating with front‑of‑house staff.
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a kitchen environment (preferred but not required).
Ability to work independently and with a kitchen team.
Health and safety training credentials.
Certification that meets local requirements.
Flexibility with hours.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during normal operations.
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.
Pay : $16‑$18/hr
Job Type : Non‑exempt, part‑time
