Responsibilities As an experienced plumbing apprentice, you will be actively involved in diverse residential and commercial projects, installing and repairing plumbing components such as valves, fixtures, and various types of piping (metal, PVC, PEX). You will develop your understanding of blueprints, planning pipe system layouts, performing building rough‑ins, and using tools like mainline machines, snakes, jetters, and camera equipment to diagnose and resolve drain issues. You will also participate in a weekend availability schedule and an on‑call rotation for emergency situations.
Requirements
Idaho plumber apprentice card or Washington plumber trainee card
Knowledge of current Universal Plumbing Codes (UPC)
Familiarity with relevant techniques and tools
Ability to respond to emergency on‑call situations
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
If you have plumbing experience but are from out of state or have let your card lapse, we can help you navigate the licensing or re‑licensing process.
