Location: Lineberger Veterinary Hospital
We are looking to hire a full-time groomer/pet stylist for our busy general practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced groomer to join our team!
Ideal Candidate
Excellent animal handling and professional customer service skills
Strong knowledge of grooming techniques for all breeds of dogs and cats
Ability to perform grooming services, including clipping, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips, and ear cleansing
Ability to groom several dogs per day in a busy practice environment
Maintain a proper grooming room, including cleaning cages, tubs, grooming tables, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning clipper blades, scissors and brushes after use
Recommend retail products that aid in home grooming care of pets
Require regular on‑site presence; in‑person attendance is essential to support patient care and team collaboration
Skill, Knowledge, & Expertise
2 years of prior grooming experience
Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service
Familiar with standard cuts for all breeds
Reliable, a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Maintain a clean and healthy environment for clients
