About the Role Environmental Services’ mission is to maintain a clean, safe, reliable, and aesthetically pleasing environment throughout Mayo Clinic.

Job Responsibilities
Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, laboratories, offices, restrooms, corridors, floors, and other areas as assigned.
Replenishing supplies, removing waste, and supporting sustainability efforts by transporting recyclables to identified pick‑up points.
Collaborating with others, using organizational and time‑management skills, and communicating effectively.
Following standard precautions by using personal protective equipment as required.
Using industry‑leading technology and equipment to ensure safety and infection control.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years old and able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting.
High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
Customer‑service experience and skills are highly valued.
Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow.
Shift assignments may change to accommodate departmental/customer services.
Schedule & Compensation Full‑time; 40‑80 hours per week.
Shift preference will be discussed during interview.
Available shifts: day shifts 8‑hour (start times 6am‑10am) and evening shifts 8‑hour (start times 3pm‑8pm).
Working every other weekend.
Compensation range is $21.88–29.37 per hour based on union contract.
Exemption status: non‑exempt.
