About the Role: The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for delivering effective instruction in Spanish language and culture to high school students, fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons aligned with curriculum standards
Incorporate cultural themes and real-world applications to enhance learning
Develop and implement assessments to monitor student progress
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and academic excellence
Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success
Participate in school meetings, professional development, and community activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
Valid teaching certification required.
Previous experience teaching Spanish at the high school level preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to student growth and continuous learning
Required Skills:
Fluency in Spanish and English
Effective classroom management and instructional strategies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience integrating technology and cultural experiences into instruction
