Integration Charter Schools
Integration Charter Schools is dedicated to providing innovative pathways to college that fully integrate students with special needs. In building a family of associated schools that share this common mission, ICS strives to fill gaps in public education. The ICS network is composed of four schools located on Staten Island, New York. The guiding principles of ICS are teamwork, courage, community and integrity.
Our Personalized Learning approach is grounded in the belief that when we design learning environments to meet the needs of students with disabilities, we create better outcomes for all learners. With 43% of our network’s student population identified as needing individualized support, we center universal design and equity—not as a matter of compliance, but as a catalyst for innovation.
This means intentionally removing systemic barriers, amplifying student voice, and ensuring every learner has access to the tools, supports, and opportunities they need to thrive. At ICS, we are reimagining personalized learning through inclusive design, flexible instruction, and real‑time data use—delivered within a framework that is responsive, rigorous, and human‑centered.
