Laborer Common – The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western
Location: Gilbert, AZ. Project: Water Mountain West Region / WW1248 Manhole Rehabilitation Ph 2 Project.
Overview The Common Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor on construction sites, including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. The role may involve operating hand and/or power tools, site preparation, and assisting with other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Perform tasks involving physical labor as instructed by the supervisor.
Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools such as drills, hammers, and other tools directed by management.
Clean and prepare construction sites, erect scaffolding, remove and dispose of debris, and dig trenches.
Load and unload construction supplies manually and with equipment.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of verifiable construction experience preferred.
Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds/ladder.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Good manual dexterity; may involve standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
