Afterschool Math Enrichment Tutor (K-8, UWS, Winter '26)

Afterschool Math Enrichment Tutor (K-8, UWS, Winter '26) We are hiring part‑time afterschool Math Enrichment Instructors (Tutors) to teach at our Manhattan location on the Upper West Side. Launch Learning K‑8 Math offers individualized instruction for students K‑8, with a student‑to‑instructor ratio of no more than 2:1.

Responsibilities

Provide top quality math instruction using Launch Learning methods in a semi‑private setting

Enthusiastically engage students during instructional sessions

Help students gain confidence in their ability to learn and succeed

Consistently monitor and assess students' progress

Maintain regular communication with the Launch Learning K‑8 Program Coordinator

Requirements

Solid knowledge of math concepts for grades K‑8

Strong desire to teach children

Personable, friendly, reliable and communicative

Previous experience working with students as a tutor or in a similar capacity

Flexible schedule and ability to commit to a full academic year

Belief that every student can learn and love math and science

Hourly pay: $17 per hour
