Join our team at UCF Lake Nona Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, as a PRN Echo Vascular Technologist. This position offers a flexible, part‑time schedule to support our cardiovascular sonography services.
Job Summary The Cardiovascular Sonographer is a highly skilled professional qualified by academic and clinical experience to produce and evaluate ultrasound images for cardiac patients.
Key Responsibilities - Produce high‑quality cardiac ultrasound studies. - Evaluate and verify images for accuracy and completeness. - Collaborate with sonographers, physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care. - Maintain proper equipment calibration and documentation. - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Echocardiography Program and/or minimum of 2 years experience in the field of Echocardiography.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
Basic echocardiography knowledge, cardiac anatomy/physiology.
