In India’s government schools (the equivalent of Title 1 schools in the U.S.) millions of children arrive without bags, uniforms, or supplies. Studies show that

56% of 10‑year‑olds cannot read a simple text

because poverty keeps them from learning (World Bank, 2025). International SEVA is tackling this head‑on. Our year‑end campaign is to provide 2,000 school bags, 230 uniforms, and special needs kits so children can learn with dignity. Each $10 bag and $17 uniform is a direct step toward inclusion, empowerment, and hope.

IMMEDIATE NEED International SEVA urgently seeks

grant writers, marketing support, and volunteers

to expand our reach and impact. Generous funding from individuals, corporations, and foundations is needed to provide

Hygiene kits, meals, and groceries for underprivileged families

Educational and craft supplies for children with special needs

Direct aid that reduces stigma, isolation, anxiety, and depression among children and caregivers

Your support today helps us deliver dignity, inclusion, and hope where it is needed most.

PROGRAMS

Education Access: Despite improvements, over 12.9 million children are still out of school and dropout rates remain high at 6%. Many government school children arrive without bags, uniforms, or supplies, which increases stigma and absenteeism. International SEVA provides school bags ($10 each) and uniforms ($17 each) to keep children learning with dignity.

Girls’ Empowerment: Uniforms are more than clothing — they reduce dropout rates among girls, who often leave school when they cannot afford proper attire. Each uniform keeps a girl in class and builds confidence.

Special Needs Inclusion: India has 8 million children with developmental disabilities (Census 2021). Most schools lack resources for them. Our special needs kits — arts/crafts, protein snacks, caregiver training — directly reduce isolation, anxiety, and depression among children and their families.

Nutrition & Poverty Relief: Even with poverty reduction, 9% of Indians cannot afford a healthy diet (UN FAO, 2025). Our programs deliver meals, groceries, and hygiene kits to restore hope and promote self‑sufficiency.

Community Partnerships: We collaborate with organizations that share our mission, extending educational and nutritional support to maximize impact.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Trust & Transparency: Open communication with donors, partners, and families.
