Qualifications
Valid driver’s license, CDL-B required
Must have and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
No record of citation or conviction of any DUI/DWI within the previous 5 years
Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and functional screen
Must consent to a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
Compensation & Benefits
$1,000 quarterly Safety Bonus Program (increases with seniority)
Annual merit increases
Delivery routes with multiple stops
100-500 mile driving radius from the branch
Time Off – 20 days in your first year: 10 days Paid Time Off (PTO) and 10 days Paid Company Holidays
Must enjoy interacting with customers, providing excellent customer service, and having a good time
Job Details
Load and unload trucks and/or trailers; secure loads per state/federal regulation
Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Assist in other branch duties including warehouse and yard inventory
Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment (gas, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes)
Verify contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
Submit receipts and money received from deliveries
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Report delays, accidents, or other transportation situations
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather)
Maintain company gas card, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, driver license, and medical certificate on person at all times while driving a company vehicle
Physical Activities
Regularly sit and talk or hear
Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
Frequently stand or walk and climb or balance
Require close vision
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
