We are looking for a dedicated professional to accurately locate underground facilities. The position requires focus, skill, and use of machinery and tools.
Responsibilities
Accurately locate underground utility lines (telephone, electric, cable TV, gas, fiber optic, water, sewer).
Observe, mark, and document underground and exposed utilities.
Use multiple locating methods and equipment.
Work independently or as part of a team under supervisor direction.
Maintain accurate records and report to management.
Perform emergency/on‑call locates as needed during regular or overtime hours.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
Ability to problem‑solve and read technical drawings.
Physical capability to lift >50 lbs and walk/stand for multiple hours.
Excellent communication skills.
Background check clearance (no violations in last 5 years).
DOT drug test pass.
Preferred Experience
1 year of computer skills.
1 year of utility locating experience.
Vacuum truck experience (A+).
Application Requirements
Complete a background check.
Pass a DOT drug test.
Equipment & Tools
Company vehicle, laptop, and smartphone.
All required personal protective equipment.
Locating transmitter, boom, and other specialized tools.
