At Westmor Industries, we are seeking a meticulous and detail-driven individual for our night shift Painter position. Key Responsibilities
As a Painter, you will be expected to complete: Surface Preparation:
Remove rust and spatter through sanding, and clean steel surfaces to eliminate oils and cutting fluids. Painting Process:
Apply paint to finished production items and sub-assemblies with precision. Equipment and Maintenance:
Accurately mix paint, correctly set and adjust paint equipment, and perform daily maintenance on painting tools. Quality Control:
Mask off areas that should not be painted, use proper painting techniques, and inspect finished jobs for issues such as runs or missed spots. Documentation:
Keep the paint booth in order and complete all necessary paperwork. Compensation
The starting pay range for this position is $20-$24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location. Night shift positions receive an additional $3 per hour shift differential Night Shift
4:30pm to 5:00am, Monday - Thursday Employee Benefits
Weekly paycheck Boot reimbursements up to $125 Medical insurance - Covers 75% of premiums Dental and vision insurance 401K retirement account with 5% company match On the spot bonuses up to $100 Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive or industrial painting preferred Ability to read blueprints Detail oriented Traits of Successful Employees
