Tax Japanese Business Network (JBN) Associate – Summer / Fall 2026
Join PwC Experience Center Stockholm as a Tax Japanese Business Network (JBN) Associate. In this role you will provide tax planning, compliance and strategic guidance to clients, helping them navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions.
As a member of our tax compliance team you will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their obligations while minimizing risks of non‑compliance. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, adapting to diverse clients and challenges, and taking ownership of high‑quality deliverables.

The Opportunity As part of the PwC Private team you will support a variety of client services. In this Intern / Trainee position you will observe and learn, participate in projects, perform basic tasks, and conduct research to gain exposure to PwC practices and methodologies.
Responsibilities
Participate in specific stages of engagements.
Research tax law, rules, and regulations.
Analyze applications and draft memorandums.
Support select projects.
Demonstrate innovative thinking and teamwork.
Seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
Prioritize and complete tasks flexibly.
Contribute to the team’s success.
What You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state before full‑time start.
Business‑level proficiency in both Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking).
What Sets You Apart
Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.3.
Experience researching and analyzing tax laws and regulations.
Interaction with client and firm management.
Self‑motivation and a commitment to personal growth.
Typical intern candidates are in their 3rd year of a 4‑year program or 4th year of a 5‑year program and join during winter/spring or summer prior to graduation.

Compensation Salary range: $53,500 – $142,000. Compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable law. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday pay, vacation, and personal and family sick leave.
