Join our diverse and supportive team of travel professionals! As a travel counselor youll organize itineraries for clients and support them when things dont go as expected on the open road. Youll handle every aspect of corporate travel, wedding travel, family travel, sports and leisure travel.
Responsibilities
Creates and completes travel arrangements for car, hotel, air, rail, flights, etc.
Provide clients with up to date trip information, offer alternatives when appropriate
Create social media marketing posts and creative fliers
Attend live and recorded training sessions to stay up to date in the travel industry
Take client payments in a secure manner and apply them to travel reservations
Research and recommend vacation destinations
Experience
2+ years of experience working in a customer service environment preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills
Ability to self manage and problem solve
Strong communication, organization and decision making skills
Positive attitude, coachable, and trainable
Fluent in English, (bilingual a plus)
