Bartender (New Concept Restaurant) – Part Time – Maryland

Job Overview Responsible and accountable for all aspects of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage sales. Ensure consistent product quality, serve guests with flair, and maintain a safe, comfortable environment with the highest level of guest service.
Compensation USD $6.39/Hr (Min & Max).
Responsibilities
Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to company specifications.
Guide guests through menu and drink options and casino & hotel offerings.
Take orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Keep area clean and orderly.
Provide friendly and attentive service.
Handle all cash transactions.
Opening and closing inventories of all stock.
Retain knowledge of company policy and procedure regarding guest limitations.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills to Help You Succeed
Customer service.
POS software operating experience.
Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude.
Basic reading, writing and understanding instructions.
Knowledge of bar equipment, Easy Bar System, ABC laws and regulations.
Handling intoxication situations.
Communication with all departments and team members.
Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
Flexible schedule.
Team environment working.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 6 months to 1 year as a bartender.
License: Must comply with state gaming regulations, obtain and maintain Alcohol Beverage Control card, and health certificates.
Physical Requirements
Stand for long periods; able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift/ carry objects ≤25 lbs.
Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach, work under variable temperatures and noise levels; reach overhead and below the knees.
