We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role is essential in upholding the standards of hygiene and appearance within our commercial and residential spaces. Hours for this role are 1:30pm - 9pm Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness. Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning duties, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-kept. Carry out custodial tasks such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, and replenishing supplies. Maintain facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks and reporting any issues that require attention. Execute floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed to preserve floor integrity. Assist with porter duties, ensuring common areas are tidy and presentable at all times. Skills
Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Experience in commercial cleaning settings with a strong understanding of custodial practices. Knowledge of facilities maintenance protocols to ensure operational efficiency. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and waxing processes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
