Landscape Laborer

Position: 24 Landscape Laborer positions, temporary, full‑time seasonal. Date period: 3/15/2026 – 10/15/2026.
Location: 525 Enterprise Parkway, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Employer will provide daily transportation between this site and additional worksites. Additional worksites are located in Cook, DuPage, Lake, McHenry counties and areas of Chicago‑Naperville‑Elgin.
Wages: $21.26 per hour (base). Overtime pay varies: up to $27.00 per hour, OT $31.89 per hour, potentially up to $40.50 per hour based on experience. Pay is distributed weekly and compliance with federal, state and local labor laws is ensured.
Benefits: Daily transportation and subsistence provided. This includes daily travel allowance (currently $16.28 per day up to $68.00 per day with receipts). Employer will reimburse H-2B visa-related expenses for qualifying workers.
Duties
Water lawns, trees or plants.
Rake, mow, weed eat, and trim shrubs.
Perform other Landscape Laborer activities in accordance with SOC/OES 37-3011.
Schedule Monday-Friday 6:45 AM - 4:45 PM. Approximately 40+ hours per week, excluding lunch and breaks. Possible weekend or holiday work; overtime may be offered depending on project needs, weather, and commute times.
Requirements
Proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. (disclaimer: job intended only for U.S. workers; no visa sponsorship).
Drug, alcohol, and tobacco free work zone compliance.
Physical ability to lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move and manipulate materials up to 75 lbs (possible 2-person).
No minimum education requirement; on-the-job training available.
Availability for the entire contract period and all intended employment areas.
Terms & Conditions Employer will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment-related laws and regulations. Overtime pay will be at 1.5× regular rate for hours worked beyond 40 per week, if applicable.
Guarantee 3/4 Guarantee: The worker will be offered a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period.
