Denver Equestrians Riding School provides a family‑friendly environment where individuals of all ages can embrace their love for horses, learn riding skills, and grow their equestrian abilities. We offer training in both English and Western disciplines, including Jumping, Dressage, Hunt Seat Equitation, and Horsemanship. Our well‑maintained facility hosts gentle, well‑trained school horses and ponies, along with engaging programs such as signature Youth Riding Clubs and Horse Camp. Role Description This is a part‑time on‑site role for a Groom / Assistant Instructor located in Littleton, CO. Responsibilities include grooming and tacking horses, maintaining the cleanliness of the barn and equipment, and assisting with horse care. The role also involves supporting riding instruction, teaching foundational riding and horse care, supervising youth riding activities, and providing an exceptional experience for both riders and horses.
Qualifications
Experience in horse grooming, tack management, and general horse care
Ability to assist with riding instruction and teach foundational horse care and riding skills
Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in an equestrian setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students of all ages
Flexibility, dependability, and a genuine passion for horses and teaching
Previous experience working with children and/or in an equestrian educational environment is a plus
Physical stamina to perform physical tasks associated with horse care and facility maintenance
