Job Requirements And Duties You must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, and have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery. You should possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings.
Qualifications
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Make correct monetary change.
Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Coordinate motor movements between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate tasks.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Essential Functions / Skills
Driving, walking, climbing, and pushing required during delivery.
Carry pizzas and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties.
Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
Driving Specific Job Duties
Deliver product by car to customer door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather during delivery.
In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
Exchange of fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
Exposure to cramped quarters, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
