SPC Construction
As the BIM Modeler at EE Cruz, you will support the integration of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methodologies into our projects. This role will learn and utilize cutting‑edge digital tools and processes to optimize design, enhance coordination, and streamline construction, ensuring project excellence from conception to completion.
How You Will Make An Impact
Supports the development, maintenance, and optimization of comprehensive 3D/4D models for infrastructure projects, using these for drawing production, simulations, design validation, constructability reviews, and sequencing.
Abides by BIM/VDC standards, guaranteeing uniformity, efficiency, and quality in our projects.
Uses BIM/VDC tools to identify design and construction clashes.
Develops 3D/4D visualization and virtualization renderings, walkthroughs and simulations.
Utilizes BIM/VDC models to anticipate potential project risks.
Assists in drafting design drawings using BIM/CAD software.
Coordinates the use of drones and extracts data from flights to use in BIM modeling and construction engineering.
Maintains knowledge of the company’s values and strategic plan.
Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2–3 years of experience working in the digital build environment in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Autodesk and/or Bentley 3D/4D software.
Knowledge of and ability to use BIM/VDC/CAD software.
Knowledge of construction drawing presentation and best practices.
Attention to detail and familiarity with file organization best practices.
Able to create and interpret 3D models for diverse infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of construction engineering principles and regulatory codes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and skill in technical writing for efficient and concise document control and presentations to all levels of the business.
Strong multi‑tasking and time‑management skills.
Desire and ability to learn about construction and virtual design process.
Salary min: USD $82,000.00/Yr. Salary max: USD $105,000.00/Yr.
