Job Description What you will be doing:
Complete daily operations (i.e., opening duties, stocking, polishing, cleaning and maintaining walk‑ins, fridges and other areas as assigned by the F&B Manager on duty)
Meet and greet guests and coordinate with F&B team regarding preferences, allergies and special occasions
Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
Maintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective up‑selling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenue
Maintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures
Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
Serve group functions per individual client specifications
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Follow all Hotel Service Standards
Any other job tasks that may be assigned
Physical Aspects of the Position
Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
Occasional lifting and carrying over 50 lbs
Frequent pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs
Frequent handling and reaching outward
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Qualifications
1 year restaurant experience preferred; serving experience an asset
Creative and passionate about customer service
Able to work in a high‑pressure environment
Must be able to work any shift assigned, such as holidays, weekends, mornings, and potentially afternoons and evenings if needed
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
Provide the necessary State and Federal requirements to work in food and beverage
