Pay, Benefits and Perks of Restorative Aide (CNA)
Competitive Pay Based on Experience.
Shift Differential Pay (at participating locations)
Paid Time Off (PTO+) added to your balance after 30 days of employment; immediately accrue more PTO as you work (full‑time only)
Earn PTO+ for every quarter of perfect attendance (full‑time only)
6 Observed Holidays with premium pay or leave + 1 Floating Holiday for full‑time employees

Essential Functions of Restorative Aide (CNA)
Assist in the provision of regular resident care as directed
Provide active and passive range of motion following directions from Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist
Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort; assist in the provision of restorative or rehabilitative care
Notify appropriate licensed staff when a resident complains of pain
Perform restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self‑feeding, etc. within scope of training
Observe and report resident’s ability to ambulate, distance of ambulation and body alignment and gait during ambulation
Ambulate resident to the distance specified with nursing assistance and/or equipment as indicated and following the care plan
Record ambulation on Ambulation Record daily
Record muscle strengthening, ROM, and ambulation on resident’s interdisciplinary notes monthly
Provide general nursing care such as positioning residents, lifting and turning residents, using special equipment, assisting in use of bedpan or commode, and ambulating residents
Adhere to policies and procedures of the center
Participate in socialization activities
Assist resident back to bed, turn and position as ordered or needed, ensuring no rough surfaces contact the body; lift and turn with proper body mechanics and available resources
Treat residents and families with respect and dignity
Perform all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes safety and reduces likelihood of errors
Support and maintain a culture of safety and quality
Restrain residents properly when ordered
Assist in restraint reduction program by reviewing residents for restraint reduction and monitoring those who have had restraints removed
Provide reality orientation in daily care
Qualifications of Restorative Aide (CNA)
Must have at least one year of Long‑Term Care experience
Past experience as a Restorative Aide preferred
Must be a Certified Nursing Aide
