Transporter – Patient Transporter

Highland Hospital is seeking a part‑time Patient Transporter. Hours are Friday‑Monday and every other weekend from 12:00‑10:30 pm.
Responsibilities
Transport patients via wheelchairs, stretchers or as an escort in ambulatory cases to and from clinical, ancillary and support department areas as directed by the PTR, closing tasks and observing all safety regulations.
Assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and/or from beds or chairs to and/or from wheelchairs or stretchers.
Pick up specimens, cultures, orders and requisitions and deliver items to appropriate destinations.
Maintain an accurate log of all transports.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Reliable transportation to the Rochester, NY area.
Good customer service skills and the ability to follow safety regulations.
Compensation $17.70 - $22.92 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual hourly rates will be determined within the range based on market data, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.
