Security Officer - Logistics Access Point PT

Nashville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Your presence and proactive approach help deter security‑related incidents by monitoring and patrolling logistics and distribution areas; you will also provide exceptional customer service and communication to staff, visitors, and delivery personnel.

What You’ll Do
Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with site‑specific procedures and directions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and according to established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter security‑related risks.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site‑specific policies.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during security‑related or emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
