Summer Instructional Assistants – ESY 2026
We are currently seeking Summer Instructional Assistants for ESY 2026. These positions are temporary for the duration of the summer program only.
Effective for the 2026 summer program, vacancies exist within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. These positions are for school age programs throughout the county.

Schedule
8:30 AM - 2:30 PM (6 hours a day)
Monday - Thursday
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
Experience working with Special Education Students preferred.
Current police, child abuse and FBI fingerprint clearances required.
Duties & Responsibilities To provide instructional support to teachers and students in an extended school year program.
Hourly Rate (2025–2026 School Year)
0–9 years experience: $18.72
10–13 years experience: $20.57
14–17 years experience: $22.41
18–25 years experience: $24.26
*Bachelor’s degree is equivalent to 9 years experience on the scale: $18.72
*Master’s degree is equivalent to 15 years experience on the scale: $22.41

Chester County Learning Center – Coatesville, PA
Clinical Treatment Program – Coatesville, PA
Engle Education Center – West Grove, PA
Gateway Program – Phoenixville and Coatesville, PA
Transitional Work and Living Pathway Programs – West Chester, West Grove, and Downingtown, PA
