As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with all individuals on site. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to help maintain order at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions. Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential disturbances and support a secure environment. Complete reports and document incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols. Monitor access points and screen individuals entering and exiting the location to help deter prohibited items or unauthorized entry. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies. Follow all post orders and directives provided by Allied Universal and site management. Minimum Requirements
Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
