Program Overview The Voluntary Pre‑Kindergarten Education Program (VPK) prepares early learners for success in kindergarten and beyond. VPK builds a strong foundation for school using educational material corresponding to various stages in a child's development.
Assistant Teacher Responsibilities
Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards, and grant program requirements to ensure daily care of every child.
Accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, and effectively communicate with families.
Complete extensive training on child care, preschool, and development topics.
Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for children.
Qualifications
Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related, or an active CDA in Preschool.
Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
Ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Location & Salary Jacksonville, FL $10,000.00–$51,000.00 3 months old
