Responsibilities The successful candidate will have theoretical knowledge and practical hands‑on ability in various shipboard engineering systems. You will work in one of the following labs: Internal Combustion Engines, Auxiliary Machinery, Steam Generation, Refrigeration, Machine Tools, Engineering Systems and Safety, or perform maintenance within the labs. The position is non‑benefitted, temporary/contract.
Qualifications And Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marine engineering or an appropriate field
Minimum of three years of teaching experience or professional experience in a relevant discipline(s)
Have held an unlimited Second Assistant Engineer license or greater, or currently possess an active Third Assistant Engineer's license
Demonstrated work history, teaching, and practical experience in the subject concentration
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited institution
Recent experience teaching or in professional service in the maritime field
Upper‑level license
