I am looking for a Year 1 teacher to join a two-form entry primary school in New Southgate from after half term. The school is based in a residential area in New Southgate. The school is easily accessible by public transport or car.
The role This is a full-time role to start after half term and you must be able to commit full-time as consistency is key. The successful candidate will be working in year 2 and will be responsible for the planning and delivery of all lessons. You will be part of a very dynamic and creative team of teachers and you will receive excellent opportunities for training and development.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Excellent knowledge of KS1 curriculum
Ability to plan, teach and effectively assess a range of pupils, including those working below national curriculum level
Ability to be creative and manage, motivate, and inspire children
Ability to plan for and manage a team of support staff
Ability to liaise with multi-professionals
Experience in assessing child development and planning activities to support their on-going attainment and growth
Able to commit for the duration of the placement
Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning
Honest and compassionate
Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education.
Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to complete one
