Requirements
Must pass state required physical, and TB test.
Must be fingerprinted and free of conviction.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, receive written and oral instructions and possess good interaction skills.
Must be able to safely perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent patient care information to assure resident's rights are protected.
Fill in for supervisor on days off and vacation days.
Production Sheets- Put out the night before. Note any special function notes.
Supervises food service department, personnel including dining room staff, per facility personnel, when dining room supervisor is off campus.
When needed, help fill any position in the Dietary Department
Report all accidents/incidents to the Food Service Director or the Front Office.
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasisas well as a calm work environment.
Follow all Hazard Analysis Critical Control point (H.A.C.C.P) procedures
Performs related work as required.
Contact maintenance department or Food Service Director when repairs are needed.
Place Bread, order with Olsen’s.
Fill out meals on wheels, senior meals and keep track of totals.
Record Resident delivered food trays.
Check PCU & R/R daily side work and stock.
Assign daily side-work as needed through-out day.
Put out employee sign-in sheet for the next day meals.
Staff assignments: for dining room meals (Breakfast, Lunch. Supper, Events)
Tracking: Resident Special Party, functions to charge accordingly.
Lunch Meal, Request as needed.
Track PCU & Recovery Guest meals turn in at the end of month to accounting.
Resident event sheet, cake order or root beer floats
Need to also learn and understand other key positions to fill in on vacations or absences.
