We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*** Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers* Conducts regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes* Collaborates with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs* Maintains accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles* Responsible for repairing, modifying and performing preventative maintenance on applicable fleet vehicles.* Responsible for all maintenance to the operation of equipment by completing all required preventive maintenance requirements* Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions* Inspects fleet vehicles to ensure that all vehicles are DOT compliant to include brake maintenance* Completes all required daily reporting as required* Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level* Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.* Adheres to strict safe work practices to comply with all Company, DOT and OSHA regulations**Education:*** High School Diploma**Experience and Competencies:*** 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance* Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus* Must be able to read and comprehend technical reference materials (equipment and repair manuals)* Experience with applicable Microsoft and diagnostic applications* Strong attention to detail* Prompt, professional and dependable demeanor #J-18808-Ljbffr
