Caregiver (WA) POSITION SUMMARY Caregivers create a joyful and vibrant community by providing care, support, and companionship to our residents. You will assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure their safety, well-being, and comfort, in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Personal Care: Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
Mobility Support: Help residents with mobility, transfers, and exercises to maintain their physical health.
Companionship: Engage in conversations, games, and activities to provide emotional support and companionship.
Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment.
Safety: Ensure residents' safety by monitoring for any potential hazards or emergencies and responding appropriately.
Communication: Maintain open communication with residents, their families, and team members to provide updates on residents' well‑being.
Documentation: Accurately record and document care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and any incidents or observations.
Respect and Dignity: Treat residents with respect, dignity, and empathy, promoting their independence and autonomy.
Training: Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices and standards. Attends and participates in required meetings and trainings. Stays current on all system assigned tasks and duties.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other caregivers, nurses, and staff members to ensure a cohesive and caring environment.
Crisis Management: Handle challenging situations or emergencies calmly and effectively.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in senior care.
Completion of required caregiver training and certifications (if applicable).
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature with a special interest in working with the senior population.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and assist with the mobility of residents as needed.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Current First Aid and CPR card.
Current Food Handlers card.
Pass a Criminal Background and fingerprint check.
Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds, lifting 25 to 40 pounds constantly. The employee must reach below shoulder height frequently and kneel, stoop and squat occasionally. Stand 6 out of 8 hours. $1,700 Sign on Bonus for Full‑Time.
