Reports to: Public Works- Cemetery – Recreation Directors
Department: Public Works- Cemetery- Recreation
Status: Regular, Full-time
Schedule: Monday- Friday / 7:00am – 3:00pm
Rate of Pay: $12.00 – $16.00 per hour
Job Summary:
Performs a variety of duties in street maintenance including working with concrete and sewer lines.
Sweeping and cleaning streets.
Perform operator maintenance including checking oil and other fluid levels.
Perform building maintenance including removing trash from buildings and moving items to storage or to other locations.
Assist with all other duties related to the Public Works. functions.
Requirements:
Have a high school diploma or GES
some related training or experience preferred
Ability to work in various extremes of weather
Ability to work non-standard hours including holidays and weekends.
Must possess a valid Alabama Driver License or State issued ID.
