Job Description:
As an Associate on the Growth Optimization team, you will be supporting a key firmwide resource responsible for delivering high-quality marketing materials, proposals, presentations, and growth support to advisors across the firm. You will work under the guidance of senior team members while collaborating with Growth, Marketing, and Regional teams to ensure advisors have everything they need to present Pathstone’s value proposition with excellence and consistency.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and thrives in a deadline-driven environment. You will gain hands-on experience creating materials, managing requests, coordinating cross-functional projects, and learning the processes that define how growth support is delivered across the firm. This is an opportunity to develop your skills in financial services marketing and business development support while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities Advisor Support & Materials Development
Assist in the development and continuous update of an internal database of slides, language, templates, and materials used in prospect and client discussions
Support advisors nationally by preparing pitch decks, proposals, and presentation materials for prospects
Coordinate with Marketing and Growth teams to develop new materials that align with Pathstone's service standards and visual identity
Partner with advisors and the Growth/BD team to understand specific needs and deliver high-quality, tailored materials on tight deadlines
Support the PathForward process by coordinating logistics, assisting in material preparation, and ensuring a seamless advisor and client experience
Prospect Research & Preparation
Conduct research and compile background information ("dossiers") on prospects to help advisors prepare for meetings and opportunities
Track and maintain databases of prospect information, meeting materials, and opportunity status in CRM systems
Collaborate with Growth/BD team to identify and prioritize high-value opportunities across the firm
Process & Operations
Manage incoming requests for materials and support, ensuring timely and professional delivery
Track request volume, turnaround time, and advisor satisfaction to help the team continuously improve service delivery
Support the implementation of standardized workflows and processes for prospect preparation, presentation development, and post-meeting follow-up
Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure all marketing and client-facing materials meet regulatory requirements
Proactively communicate with advisors and internal stakeholders, emphasizing clarity, context, and professionalism in all correspondence
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and new tools that enhance advisor effectiveness
Engage in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed to support the broader Growth Office and firm objectives
Quality & Brand Standards
Review and refine materials for accuracy, consistency, and professionalism before delivery
Stay informed on Pathstone's service offerings, investment capabilities, and value proposition to effectively communicate our story to advisors and prospects
Qualifications
0-2 years of experience in marketing, business development, sales support, or a related field
Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize competing requests, and maintain attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to learn and synthesize information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); willingness to learn CRM systems
Strong formatting and presentation skills, with an eye for design and visual appeal
Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from senior team members
Eagerness to learn about financial services, wealth management, and advisory business models
Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality standards
Preferred
Internship or entry-level experience in financial services, wealth management, or professional services
Experience creating presentations, marketing materials, or client-facing documents
Familiarity with brand standards and professional communication
Proactive, service-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to supporting others

Pay Transparency Pathstone’s expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $65,000 - $90,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training. The successful candidate(s) may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
