Job Summary Assist in developing test procedures, methods and tools for test, verification, and certification of electronic and RF/Microwave products. Validate test processes for manufacturing electronic instruments and integrated measurement systems. Participate in design verification of new equipment and contribute to preparing product compliance documentation. Work with the company’s System and Manufacturing engineers to troubleshoot integrated controls and RF/microwave systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform product testing

Develop, maintain and improve RF/Microwave test processes for engineering characterization and production testing

Develop procedures and tools for test, calibration and verification of standard products in cooperation with design engineers

Maintain equipment calibration

Participate in Failure Analysis when repetitive equipment failures occur

Ensure accurate documentation and measurement records of product parameters and process control performance

Assist and train Equipment Test Specialists and Assemblers to assemble, troubleshoot, and repair standard products

Minimum Qualifications

Technician Certificate or equivalent experience (Required)

5+ years of experience in testing electronic products, systems, modules and test equipment

Solid knowledge in electronics; analog, power, digital, and RF

Proficient in reading electrical schematics down to board level

Understanding of electrical test equipment:

Digital Voltmeter (DVM)

Oscilloscope

Spectrum Analyzer

Ability to understand and follow complex wiring / cabling diagrams.

Analytical reasoning and problem solving.

Experience in RF/microwave component testing and characterization.

Able to set up and qualify RF/Microwave/mmW test benches

Good communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)

Ability to work in a team environment

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality processes

Programming skills: LabVIEW, ATM, VB, Python, or other
