Sylvania
Montessori Primary Assistant Teacher
WHO WE ARE:
Whitmore Lake Public Schools' Montessori Magnet Program, Go Like the Wind Montessori School, is a diverse community of learners and compassionate educators. Our dedicated team provides an authentic Montessori education where children from birth to 6th grade can become independent thinkers, collaborative learners, creative problem solvers and compassionate citizens. Since being founded in 1987, GLTW has been a not-for-profit tuition-based school. In 2022, it merged with Whitmore Lake Public Schools to become a public Montessori school. The program remains tuition-based for infant, toddler and young primary students ( 3 and 4 years olds) with a tuition-free Magnet program for grades K-6th. We are eager to grow our program to include Middle School and beyond.
The Whitmore Lake Public School District is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized education to all students. Beyond the classroom, we are committed to serving the needs of families in Whitmore Lake and the surrounding communities; at the heart of everything we do is our tight-knit Trojan community, including our students, families and our staff. We work hard and take pride in making every day a great day to be a Trojan, whether with a traditional or Montessori approach. #TrojanPride
Come be a part of our community as we inspire a lifelong love of learning.
