Bilingual Day Porter Supervisor
A Bilingual Day Porter Supervisor oversees day porters during daytime operations, ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable. This supervisor must communicate effectively in English and Spanish, support on‑site staff, handle client communication, and respond quickly to facility needs.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of day porters
Assign daily tasks and adjust workloads as needed
Conduct quality inspections of lobbies, restrooms, offices, and common areas
Maintain open communication with clients, tenants, and building management (English & Spanish)
Respond to urgent cleaning requests throughout the day
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
Report maintenance issues or supply shortages
Complete daily logs, reports, or checklists
Serve as the primary point of contact for onsite customer service
Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Prior janitorial or day porter experience (supervisory preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressureKnowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
Excellent customer‑service abilities
Reliable, organized, and professional
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility
Lift up to 15–40 lbs as needed
Perform occasional cleaning when assisting staff or filling gaps
Must have reliable transportation.
Will be interview by Manager.
Schedule: Monday‑Friday (9:30am‑6:00pm) Payrate: $15.00‑$16.00 depending on experience.
