Key Responsibilities
Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, masking, and treating metal surfaces for proper adhesion.
Coating Application: Selecting colors, loading powder, and spraying evenly with spray guns (manual or automatic).
Curing: Moving parts into and out of high temperature curing ovens.
Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects, coverage, and adherence to standards, troubleshooting issues.
Equipment & Area Maintenance: Cleaning spray guns, booths, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
Documentation: Keeping records of coated parts, colors, and processes.
Safety: Adhering to all safety procedures, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and proper disposal of materials.
Skills and Qualifications
Attention to detailand manual dexterity.
Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
Understanding materials, processes, and basic equipment maintenance.
Physical strength to move parts and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes hot environment.
