# **Job Description**Bishop Spencer Place is Kansas City's premier retirement community and a proud member of the Saint Luke's Health System. We are looking for a customer-focused Receptionist to work on a PRN (as needed) basis (as described below). The Receptionist is the initial positive contact point for resident and visitor encounters. In addition, our Receptionists have the following accountabilities:* PRN covering the 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. schedule on an as-needed basis* Meets and greets visitors to the community in a friendly and positive manner.* Answers telephone, determines nature of call and directs caller to appropriate individual or department.* Maintains current listings of resident and staff phone numbers.* Scheduling and dispatching drivers for resident transportation.* Processes maintenance and housekeeping work orders.* Makes photocopies, sends faxes, and performs other administrative duties for residents and department managers.* Processes and distributes incoming mail.
Helps send outgoing mail.
