Tri-City Group is seeking Electrical Helpers or “Unindentured Apprentices” for openings in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Responsibilities
Performing material handling on the job site
Installing and bending conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders
Perform wire and cable pulls
Qualifications
Previous experience in the construction or electrical industry is preferred but not required
Familiarity with electrical tools and machinery
Reliable transportation to get to the construction site and from job to job
Regular attendance, timeliness when given tasks, and arrival to work on time - Required
Ability to follow safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and wear PPE (Safety gear) on site
Desire to learn in a hands‑on environment with an awareness of other job site activities
Attention to detail, and ability to follow instruction
All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen, and reference check. Applicants will need to supply their own steel/composite‑toed shoes. Tri-City Group is an equal‑opportunity employer.
