Position Overview Cristo Rey OKC Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Coach to lead one of our athletic programs. The Head Coach will develop a competitive, disciplined, and character-driven team culture while upholding the mission and values of the school. The role requires leadership both on and off the field, emphasizing academic achievement, personal growth, and athletic excellence.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and lead practices, games, and team activities.
Develop and implement strategies for individual and team improvement.
Foster a positive, respectful, and disciplined team culture rooted in sportsmanship.
Monitor and support the academic success of student‑athletes.
Communicate effectively with athletes, families, staff, and administration.
Ensure program compliance with school policies, conference rules, and OSSAA regulations.
Manage assistant coaches and delegate responsibilities as needed.
Serve as a mentor and role model for student‑athletes.
Qualifications
Previous coaching or playing experience required (head coaching experience preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with student‑athletes and families.
Commitment to the mission and values of Cristo Rey OKC Catholic High School.
Must pass background checks and complete Safe Environment training.
