Responsibilities
Acts as liaison between patients and staff on issues of care and communication.
Completes patient call‑backs to assess satisfaction, and assists the department with data collection and reporting as directed by the Nurse Manager.
Assists the Manager in developing and updating goals and objectives for Emergency Services.
Participates in hospital and department committees as requested.
Provides information and support to patients/families in the Emergency Department: greets them upon entrance, assists with sign‑in triage, directs to registration or Prompt Care, answers questions about ED procedures, monitors flow in the waiting room, and maintains open dialogue with ED staff.
Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Adheres to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Compensation Minimum rate: $17.25 per hour. (Full compensation may vary based on market data, experience, education, geographic location, and internal equity.)

Depends on experience, education/certifications, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
May include performance‑based incentives, bonuses, commissions, and shift differentials.
