Position Purpose To maximize guest satisfaction by providing neat and clean guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards, organizing supplies, and exhibiting the company's mission and values.

Prerequisites & Requirements

1+ years of experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Professionalism, honesty, trustworthiness.

Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Physical ability: stand, lift, bend, stretch, reach; stand for eight hours, lift/pull 60 pounds, carry 30 pounds.

Must be able to work alone or in a team, remain service‑centric, multi‑task, detail‑oriented.

Must be able to perform major life activities: standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, communicating.

Long hours may be required; work schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays.

Work Environment & Context

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Proper procedures for handling linens, terry and other supplies.

Sanitation of supplies, guestrooms, public areas.

Guestroom cleaning procedures and safety/security measures.

Maintenance of designated minutes per room and guest privacy.

Follow cleaning procedures in a systematic manner.

Assist guests professionally, maintaining a hospitable and caring attitude.

Multitasking, detail oriented, service‑centric.

Work alone or as a team member; communicate with guests and co‑workers. Comply with all standards.

Essential Functions

Daily cleaning of vacant dirty rooms and return them to ready status; clean occupied dirty rooms.

Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart.Report discrepancies to Housekeeping Supervisor.

Turn in lost items for “lost and found.”

Ensure quality of linen closet contents.

Maximize job efficiency and neat appearance by maintaining supply cart and vacuum.

Ensure safety and security.

Assist in maintaining other hotel areas (lounges, locker rooms, public areas, stairwells, back‑of‑house).

Respond immediately to guest requests and inquiries.

Have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
