RH is seeking a Zipper Sewer who will operate the sewing machine to sew zippers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
Sew zippers into the border by operating a zipper sewing machine
Control machine with foot pedal
Observe stitching to detect defects and notifies supervisor when defects are caused by machine malfunction
Select sewing supplies according to specifications or color of material, and sets up machine for operation
Cut excess thread or material
Oil machine
Maintain equipment and work area in an orderly manner
OUR REQUIREMENTS
1+ years experience in similar field
Excellent communication with clients, associates, and fellow Leaders
Ability to work independently
Team player with an enthusiastic outlook and creative mind
Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism
Effectively manage multiple projects and complete tasks in a timely manner
Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
Detail-oriented and uphold brand integrity
Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
OUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
The employee frequently is required to talk or hear
Ability to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
