Science and STEM Summer Camp Assistant Teacher
Apply to be an Assistant Instructor in our Summer STEM programs at Black Rocket Productions.
Responsibilities
Lead in‑room instruction for kids ages 6–14 during 4–10 week summer seasons, starting in June.
Deliver STEM and baking activities aligned with program curriculum.
Facilitate engaging, hands‑on learning experiences that encourage science inquiry and creativity.
Maintain a positive, safe learning environment and communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
Qualifications
18 years of age or older.
College students in education, culinary arts, biology, chemistry, engineering or other STEM fields encouraged.
Experience working with children in a formal or informal setting (e.g., babysitting, tutoring, coaching).
Strong background in science or baking, familiarity with the scientific method, engineering concepts, creative thinking or baking techniques.
Authorized to work in the United States; no work sponsorship or accommodations offered.
Availability for a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday, with potential to start online training in May.
Must love working with kids.
