We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing approach, with a focus on creating a safe and engaging environment for young children (age 2 years). Responsibilities include developing age‑appropriate lesson plans, fostering social and emotional development, ensuring safety, potty training, and more.
Key skills include excellent communication, patience, and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere. Candidates should be comfortable working closely with parents and other staff members to support each child’s growth and development.
Qualifications
Experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting.
DCF 45 hours
CPR and First Aid certification
Responsibilities
Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
Teach beginning reading and math skills
Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
Communicate with parents and other school personnel
Assess student skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
