Responsibilities The EVS Supervisor supervises and directs the activities of the Environmental Services staff, including but not limited to training, scheduling, and performance management. This position also provides efficient and effective functioning of the EVS staff, as well as a safe working environment for staff and patients; coordinates resources and services to meet the needs of the Facility while maintaining regulatory compliance. This position also cleans and services the Hospital building and ground areas, and performs a variety of environmental services duties in order to maintain an orderly and sanitary condition. Assists in orienting new EVS Technicians in regards to work duties, locations of supplies, stocking cart, and safety practices.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience as EVS Technician required. Previous experience in Environmental Services (hospital/hotel industry) required.
